Maybe allow your blogs to belong to "categories" where you can distinguish between your essays and quick post, while keeping everything under one umbrella. Come up with some clever category names.

Yeah. She's pretty cool. And so is southern California. I am missing the heat. It was down to 20 degrees last night. The chicken's water froze.
Did you know that Alaskans eat more ice cream per person than all the other states. Too bad there isn't a Thrifty up here.
